Rock art talk more than artefacts do about cultural interrelations
covering great distances and about the exchange of goods and ideas.
The cultural relationships tend much more towards the Near East
than to the neighbouring regions in the west and north.
The daggers in Valcamonica displays different handles and pommels
compared to those found in other Rock art sites. Halberds testify
to relationships covering even those areas where bronze artefacts
are rare.
