Crook” (Scimitar)

Rock art that helps to recognize and understand lost objects and its distribution are called crooks. They belong to Copper age. They were known throughout Ancient Europe. They are made of hard wood hence not conserved. This weapon must have been widely used and been of great significance in Ancient Europe. Only a single original made of copper has been preserved in Zaerzentmihály (Hungary).
