Valle di Campiglia

You should head here on the 10th of August for a huge celebration on the 2000 meter high Valle d'Aosta. On the left side of this valley the ancient Sanctuary of S. Besso, where the celebrations are held each year.

Again one of the very few spots less frequented by tourists, its magnificent woods opens onto ancient settlements. This route is frequented by locals and is really worth a visit if you want to get away from crowds of tourists.
