Ferruccio
Lamborghini was born in Renazzom near Bologna on 28th April 1916.
His family background was in farming however he had developed his
interest in mechanical engineering, experimenting with his family
owned tractors. He enjoyed working with the machines and soon became
proficient. His love over the machines haunted him and he took up
this challenge and enrolled himself in a technical college nearby
Bologna.
Ferruccio Lamborghini dreams were shattered with the outbreak of
World War II, he joined the Italian Air Force and was able to take
up a place in the Transport Regiment. His skills and his passion
for machines earned him a good reputation. His aspiration and commitment
kept him along the machines throughout the war. Once the war subsided
he returned to War torn Italy along with the others.
The
whole of Italy was crimpled with the effects of World War II and
to revitalize the ailing economy Italy had to be dependent on their
natural assests. Agriculture was one of the best assest to revitalize
the economy and their current machinery was inadequate and the demand
for agricultural motors rose to a sky high. Ferruccio dream did
pay him off. He focused all his attention in purchasing the war
torn vehicles and build tractors out of them. This was the perfect
start of Lamborghini empire.
Italy is a region of climatic extremes and Ferrruccio's visions
were too quick to seize this oppurtunity and he set his own unit
to build Air Conditioners and Heating Equipments. This secondary
business plan also succeeded and Ferruccio soon became a noted personality
in the form of both wealth and fame in Italy. His lavish planning
and determination struck another powerful business plan to build
helicopters but it was turned down by the Italian Government. He
was not moved by this assault and he again focused on his existing
bsuinesses.
Ferruccio
Lamborghini had his passion over owning many fabulous cars like
Jacquars, Mercedes, and Ferrari. A contretemps with Enzo Ferrari
paved the way for the birth of Automobili Lamborghini SpA in 1963
in Sant'Agana, Bologna.
His life and accomplishments as an Industrialist are displayed
to the public in the "The Cento Polifuzionale Ferruccio Lamborghini"
in Dosso di Ferrara.
